Introduction

D-Trans Allethrin Technical has a characteristic knockdown and insect toxicity which is associated to greater or lesser degree with certain of the serveral ismoers present. It is a kind of environmental material for Public Health pest control and is used mainly for the control of flies and mosquitoes in the home, flying and crawing insects on farm, fleas and ticks on dogs and cats. Application
Rich d-allethrin is the same product properties as d-allethrin, and the efficacy tested is 1.1 times that of d-allethrin.

Uses
Allethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide mostly used in amenity and domestic situations. It has a low aqueous solubility, is volatile and, based on its chemical properties, would not be expected to leach to groundwater. It tends to be moderately persistent in most soil systems. Allethrin is moderately toxic to mammals and a recognised irrirtant. Whilst it is not highly toxic to birds it is moderately toxic to fish, honey bees and earthworms.

Precautions for use and storage

1. Avoid mixing with food and feed.
