Its advanced rotor mechanism guarantees whisper-quiet operation, allowing drivers to focus on the road ahead. Easy to install and built to last, the 24V Rotor Truck Rooftop Air Conditioner is the ultimate upgrade for those seeking unmatched reliability and comfort on every journey.
24V Rotor Truck Cabin Rooftop Air Conditioner R4 is an upgrade type, launched in 2022 for high end market. Compared with scroll compressor it's more energy saving because of horizontal rotor compressor. With copper made evaporator, it's more efficient. Brushless condenser fan motor and brushless blower motor makes it serve 3 times longer than other types, also much more silent in operation. It can be with 4 cold air outlets or automatic swing outlets.
For years of market testing and feedback, more customers requires lower electricity consumption and higher cooling performance. That's why we launched this type to meet low power consumption demand. Compared with scroll compressor, rotor compressor saves 15%-20% electricity giving same cooling capacity. To enhance its performance, we use copper evaporator to work with this double rotor compressor, which makes it more efficient. Meanwhile we adopt brush-less motor for condenser fan and make the service life 3-5 times longer. For the LED lights, it's bigger, providing more light for cabins.

In using 24v Truck Air Conditioner, please follow the instructions as below:
To set the air-conditioning temperature within a suitable range. Low temperature not only easily causes physical discomfort, but also increases energy consumption.
To choose proper operation mode: 24v Truck Air Conditioners are with eco mode, sleep mode and strong mode. Clients can choose the appropriate mode according to their needs.
* Under voltage protection, if the power supply voltage is lower than the set value (default: 21.5V), the red light will light up when the battery is low. In the under voltage state, the internal fan will stop outputting, and the analog voltage output of the frequency modulation line will stop. The external unit will enter standby mode and stop working. When the voltage exceeds the under voltage recovery value (default: 25V) again, the system will restart and resume operation.
* Overvoltage protection: When the power supply voltage is higher than 30V and the battery level is high, the red light will be on. In the overvoltage state, the internal fan will stop outputting, and the analog voltage output of the frequency modulation line will stop. The external unit will enter standby mode and stop working. When the voltage drops below the overvoltage recovery value (default 28V), the system will restart and resume operation. When the panel detects a fault, it stops working, the fault icon flashes, and a fault code is displayed on the digital display.
EC: Temperature control sensor malfunction. Check the temperature probe connector or replace the temperature probe on the panel.
EF: Internal fan malfunction, fan short circuit or overcurrent. Check if there is a short circuit or carbon brush problem with the indoor fan.
E1: Under voltage/Over voltage. Check the power supply circuit and undervoltage settings.
E2: Controller overcurrent protection. Check the heat dissipation of the external unit, whether there is a heat source at the installation position, and whether there is excessive refrigerant filling. E3: Controller blocking protection. Poor contact of the compressor connection line, or compressor jamming.
E4: Controller undervoltage protection. Check the power supply circuit of the controller and ensure undervoltage protection.
E5: Short circuit protection or controller damage. Check for wear and short circuits in the connecting wires between the controller and the compressor. E6: Controller overvoltage protection. Check if the system voltage exceeds 30V.
E7: Three consecutive startup failures, usually caused by E3 or E12.
E8: Outdoor fan failure. Check the connection wires of the fan.
E9: The temperature switch or pressure switch is disconnected. Check the system pressure or temperature switch.
H2: Controller phase loss protection. Check the compressor connection line.
H3: Controller power device over temperature protection.
H4: Controller malfunction.

* After installation, it is necessary to measure the high and low pressures. The high pressure should be controlled at around 12kg (when the ambient temperature is around 36 β), and it is best to control it below 12kg when testing indoors or at night. Otherwise, the pressure will rise very high at high temperatures, which can cause the refrigerant temperature to be too high and affect the cooling effect.
* It is necessary to use genuine R134a refrigerant and legitimate products from national standard brands.
* Use genuine R134a hose, otherwise it may cause the refrigerant and refrigeration oil to deteriorate.
* The wiring should be thick. Within 2 meters, 3.58mm power cables can be used from the battery to the compressor, 3.47mm power cables should be used for 2-5 meters, and 4.51mm power cables should be used for more than 5 meters. (Note: Due to the high current of the electric compressor, a thin wire may cause excessive line loss. Please connect according to the wiring diagram requirements)
* Try to fully charge the battery as much as possible before use, as low battery operation can reduce the compressor speed and affect the cooling effect.
* The condenser should be cleaned regularly, at least once a week, and the construction vehicle should be handed over for cleaning every day, otherwise it will seriously affect the refrigeration effect.
* When using an electric air conditioner while driving, the battery should be fully charged first, and the generator must be above the standard 75A. Vehicles with less than 75A must pay attention to the battery storage on the dashboard during the driving process. Once a low battery occurs. The power indicator should immediately stop using the electric air conditioner. Especially when driving at night, be careful as the generator is running while driving. When the voltage is high, the compressor controller may mistakenly assume that the battery is fully charged, but in reality, the battery is no longer charged. When parking, the compressor controller is automatically controlled, which will not cause battery loss. Additionally, the generator is smaller than 55A, there will still be undervoltage and the air conditioning will stop and turn on. (This is because the battery has run out of battery power, and when the generator. When the motor speed is low, the power cannot keep up, resulting in undervoltage
* To maximize the efficiency of electric air conditioning, it is recommended to install a set of 200A or above power batteries or a generator with 80A or above. It can be used for about 5 hours when the temperature is high during the day and for more than 10 hours at night. Using electric air conditioning while driving also has no impact.
* The positive and negative poles of the electric air conditioner must be connected to the positive and negative poles of the battery, otherwise there will be a significant voltage drop, which will cause the electric air conditioner to shut down due to undervoltage.
* The green line of the controller cannot be directly connected to the test light for measurement, and a multimeter must be used for measurement.
* The installation of batteries requires the use of power batteries (such as traction batteries for electric tricycles).
Before cleaning it, make sure the air conditioner is turned off, powered off and unplugged.
* To clean indoor unit evaporator surface: Wash the cleaning cloth in clean water, dry it and wipe the surface of the unit. The cloth can be dipped in the water solution of neutral cleaner.
* To clean the core of evaporation tank: Remove the indoor unit case and blow off the dust on the surface with compressed air.
* To clean outdoor unit: Remove the unit case and clean the condenser with compressed air. Avoid any bump against the condenser. If you don’t use the parking air conditioner for a long time, unplug the air conditioner and wrap the outdoor unit and avoid any bump
* To use the parking air conditioner after long-time storage: Clean the unit body, condenser, and evaporation unit; check if there is foreign matter at the air inlet/outlet of the indoor and outdoor unit; check if the drain pipe is clear; put batteries in the remote control; make inspection and power it on.
Tips: Clean the air conditioner once every month. If there is too much dust in the working environment, increase the cleaning frequency accordingly. Please make regular cleaning to make sure it can run normally.
