The polyethylene anti-corrosion bitumen tape,also called polyethylene anti-corrosion asphalt tape is polymer modified asphalt-based materials, the surface covered with polyethylene film, aluminum foil, the base covered with a removable PE film protection kind of self-adhesive flexible waterproof membrane. Polyethylene bitumen tape used for the corrosion protection of oil ,gas ,and water underground or overhead steel pipeline and waterproofing for the roof, tank ,culverts etc.

Structure

The composition of the pipe wrap tape:

Backing: Special blend of stabilized polyethylene

Adhesive: Butyl bituminous and Adhesion Promoting Resins

Interleaf: Anti-adhesive Film Treated with Silicone.
